Installation for the production of hydrogen
The FZ SOLUTIONS company has started design and construction work on the construction of a turnkey hydrogen production plant with a capacity of 700 nm3/h and a capacity of 3.3 MW for a Ukrainian mining company.
The work includes design, supply of main and auxiliary equipment, construction and installation, commissioning and commissioning works and commissioning.
The supplier of the alkaline water electrolysis plant equipment was the Norwegian company Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser, which has been producing electrolyzers since 1927.
The project, in which our Company acts as the general contractor, will be implemented within 2 years. The hydrogen obtained will be used together with natural gas for combustion in a rotary kiln in the technological cycle of iron ore pellets production.
The use of hydrogen obtained from a renewable energy source such as water will significantly reduce the need for fossil fuels imported into Ukraine, and will also reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.
